This course is ideally for beginners and culinary professionals. Learn sophisticated French cooking techniques like creating stocks, poaching, flambéing, and more. Master traditional dishes such as Bouillabaisse, Beef Bourguignon, and Crème Brûlée.

About the Workshop

This CERTIFICATE course is ooh la la! Whether you are a beginner home cook, or already in the culinary arts but looking to expand your skills, this delicious French cuisine workshop is right for you. French cooking is a sophisticated style of cuisine which is known for elegant sauces, rich and buttery dishes, refined plating, and high quality ingredients. We aim to showcase some traditional French dishes for enthusiastic cooks to impress their guests. We focus on techniques rather than just dishes, like creating stocks and sauces, poaching, flambéing, searing and grilling. Students also learn knife skills, food hygiene, and working with professional culinary equipment.

Practical Outcome

Students learn classical French cooking techniques, plating and presentation skills, principles of flavour paring, and food balance. Classes take place in a commercial kitchen.

Tools and Attire

Students must wear non-slip steel toed shoes, black pants, and a white t-shirt.

This course is offered only as instructor led, inside our commercial kitchen, to give you hands-on training under the supervision of our master chef.
