Baking Course

Embark on a culinary adventure with our baking certification course, spanning 40 hours over 5 weekends (Saturdays 9:30AM – 5:30PM). Guided by seasoned instructors, participants will explore the nuances of baking, from creating French-style dough to crafting intricate pastries and breads. Each week focuses on a specific theme, enabling students to progressively refine their skills in a supportive environment. By the conclusion, graduates will possess the confidence to create a diverse array of baked goods with the finesse. Whether you’re an aspiring baker or a seasoned enthusiast, join us and elevate your baking prowess to new heights!

Overview

Our baking workshop offers an exploration of the art and science of baking. Throughout this course, participants will delve into various aspects of baking, from basic French-style dough to intricate pastries and breads.

 

Week by week, students will progressively enhance their skills and knowledge under the guidance of experienced instructors. The course covers a wide range of topics, including tart and pie fillings, choux paste products, assorted cookies, cakes and muffins, mousse cakes, breakfast pastries, puff pastry products, bread-making techniques, and dough preparation.

 

Each week is dedicated to a specific theme, allowing participants to focus on learning essential techniques and recipes. From the art of shaping and decorating cookies to the delicate balance of flavors in mousse cakes, students will gain hands-on experience in a supportive learning environment.


Practical Outcomes: 

Students focus on two different areas of baking each week, learning the recipes, skills, and techniques to create  breads and pastries from scratch.

 

Tools and Attire:

Students must wear non-slip steel toed shoes, black pants, and a white t-shirt
