About the Certificate
Our theory courses are delivered online, so you can learn from the comfort of your own home. Then you’ll join your classmates at Affirm College Culinary College for three practical courses in Wine Tasting, Mocktails, Specialty Coffees and Teas, and Mixology. In only 100 hours, you’ll earn your certificate, and have the knowledge and skills for various entry-level positions mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in hotels, restaurants, taverns, private clubs, bars, banquet halls, casinos, and other licensed establishments.
Practical training includes alcohol, so we require students to be 19 years of age or older.
Practical Outcome
Students will gain experience with 76 hours of online theory, and then 24 hours of practical training in our culinary college. In only 5 weeks, students graduate with a certificate in Wine, Beer, and Mixology.

Tools and Attire
Students must wear non-slip shoes for the practical training at Affirm College, Hamilton.
